31 Minutos

The widely known group in Latin America, 31 Minutos, comissioned the art direction and stage design of their latest show called Yo nunca vi Televisión. The show which is something like a rock opera, protagonised by puppets and a rock band, tours constantly around Latin America moving over 20 people on stage and gathering tens of thousands of fans on each of their show.

A four story house was proposed. It’s skeleton was made by normal scaffolding. But the façade was specially tailored. A complex mechanism allowed windows all over to open and close in any minute presenting its diverse characters. A translucent fabric that covered its entire façade plus a synchronized lighting system allowed the house to have films projected on its front, go transparent and reveals its interiors or have a show of shadows by back lighting its protagonists.

In parallel, 20 visuals for their most well known songs , made specially for the format of the house, were developed.
