SPLITTING Gordon Matta-Clark

A real scale representation of the famous cut in half house from Gordon Matta-Clark called Splitting was hanged in the central hall of the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Santiago. This homage to the artist allowed visitors to the museum walk int the house by its main door and discover the inside of this artist.  With extracts from his films, quotes and photographs an 8 minute video/collage film was projected on its four walls. The installation served as prologue to the exhibition Projections: reflections, conversations and practices around Gordon Matta-Clark which took place of the north wing of the ground floor of the museum.
