The Invisible Archive
In the main building of the University of Chile a museum was to be built exhibiting their gigantic collection and archive gathered through centuries of its history. In the meantime an installation was comissined for its main room to present some of the secrets that have been held for ages at their storage. A long table with “live” books, an open chamber that filled and emptied with some of the collection plus a selection of priceless objects brought a glimpse of what was going to happen in that same room and building in the years coming.
